We are seeking an Reliability Technician (Temp) to perform various design of experiments, conduct early accelerated product life test, improve reliability test processes, and improve field reliability. This role offers daily challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as we seek viable solutions to real-world problems. In this role, you will develop reliability test setups, improve product qualification process, lead early-stage de-risking of reliability issue, drive testing of new parts and product innovation. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to deliver quality products on time. 
  
What you will do

  • Support reliability test engineers in the installation and removal of DUT from environmental chambers.
  • Support reliability test engineers in the design, assembly, and preparation of test equipment required for validation testing.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting DUT undergoing environmental testing.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team members to ensure timely completion of testing activities.
  • Establishing and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the laboratory.

Who you are and What you bring

  • One year of post-high school technical education, such as a technical associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to apply scientific problem-solving techniques with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in design of experiments of accelerated life testing.
  • Hands-on experience with installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Experience with power supplies, inverters and high voltage systems.
  • Experience interacting with field application, engineering, and product management teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The pay rate for this position is between $29 to $42 per hour The pay rate range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions.
